IJISEA is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal. The journal seeks to publish original research articles that are theoretical and exploratory, providing insights in educational theory, teaching methods, instructional design, student management, case studies, and more, at both undergraduate and graduate levels. The editorial board welcomes high-quality research and review papers focusing on teaching, research, training, and applied work in the field of higher education.

All rights reserved. No part of the material protected by this copyright notice may be reproduced or utilized in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical including photocopying, recording, or by any information storage and retrieval system, without prior written permission from the copyright owner. However, permission is not required to copy abstracts of papers provided full reference to the source is given.

Authors acknowledge that a paper cannot be withdrawn once it is accepted. Authors may not publish their contribution elsewhere without prior written permission from the publisher unless it has been substantially changed. Authors warrant that their contribution is original (except excerpts from copyrighted works included with permission), contains no libelous statements, and does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, statutory right, or proprietary rights of others.
In return for publishing, authors retain:
- All proprietary rights other than copyrights, such as patent rights.
- The right to use all or part of the article in future works, with proper acknowledgment to the publisher.
- The right to make copies of the article for personal use but not for sale.
Authors are responsible for ensuring ethical standards, particularly concerning plagiarism. All submissions are thoroughly checked. If plagiarism is detected, authors must issue an apology and may face a one-year ban from publishing in the journal.
- The paper must not have been published elsewhere in the same form.
- It must not be submitted for publication elsewhere prior to acceptance/rejection by IJISEA.
Journal Author Rights
To publish and disseminate research, IJISEA requires publishing rights through a publishing agreement. This allows authors to retain significant rights while granting IJISEA the right to publish the work.
For subscription articles:
- Authors transfer copyright to the publisher.
- Authors retain rights for personal use, institutional use, and scholarly sharing.
- Authors retain patent, trademark, and other intellectual property rights (including research data).
- Proper attribution and credit for the published work are ensured.
For open access articles:
- Authors sign an exclusive license agreement, retaining copyright but granting exclusive rights to IJISEA.
- Authors can share their article under the relevant user license.
- Authors retain patent, trademark, and intellectual property rights.
- Proper attribution and credit for the published work are ensured.
Rights Granted to IJISEA
- The exclusive right to publish and distribute the article, and to grant rights to others, including for commercial purposes.
- For open access, applying the relevant third-party user license for publishing online.
- The right to provide the article in all media and formats to ensure availability with new technologies.
- The authority to enforce rights in cases of plagiarism or copyright infringement.
Protecting Author Rights
IJISEA is committed to protecting and defending authors' work and reputation. Allegations of infringement, plagiarism, ethics disputes, or fraud are taken seriously.
If authors become aware of plagiarism or fraud, they should contact IJISEA, who will involve its legal department. Note that open access licenses may allow broader re-use, which might not constitute copyright infringement.
